Normally, I'll cook something for Ian to bring school on Thursday, because his lesson end at 3pm.

Me:  Ian, I fried rice for you tomorrow, ok?
Ian:  No need, ta pao the fried kuey teow...
Me:  Huh, it's oily, no good for your health
Ian:  Ya, but I don't want you to wake up so early and cook for me...
Me:  (sweet)...  give him a hug + a kiss...
