Book Fair 2014

The popular book fair is here again, it's a good opportunity to grab some cheap stationeries.
I told the kids not to buy any books, but when we arrived, Ian asked "Can I buy a book?" and I ended up answer "yes".  Ian bought 2 books and Ryan chosen his birthday gift.

There's no extra school holidays for both of them, so we went after school...

Before Ian went to SUPA Camp, he requested for homemade steamboat for dinner, so I decided to prepare for him once he's back from the camp.

During this Raya festive we did not go anywhere, just did a simple steamboat for family bonding time.  I love steamboat and they do...

VBS 2014

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a specialized form of religious education which focuses on children, it takes place once a year and usually it will take 2 - 3 days vary from the age of the children.  I think it is the happiest place to be for children ages 5 years to 12 years old.

Each VBS program follows a unique theme, it's including games, crafts, bible lessons/stories, and other activities...

This year theme was "Space Quest", and only for children age 8-12 years old

Playtime_Junior Scrabble

Junior scrabble, it has been sitting for 2 years on the shelf, it's a birthday present from Uncle Kelvin & Aunty Debbie.  When he was 7 he has no patience at all and could not spell the word.  Suddenly, Ian brought it out and played, he got so involved in the game.  I'm happy to see him thinking about how the words were spelt.  Maybe it's too easy for his age and I'm thinking to buy a boggle for him.

Both of them playing different games during playtime, Ryan has chosen giant alphabet puzzle.

Children Jerseys

In conjunction with the world cup, the kids like to watch the match with daddy and interested to buy the jerseys.  Hubby brought them to downtown opposite The Mines shopping mall, they're able to choose their own jersey respectively.  Ian has chosen Holland and Ryan has chosen Italy.  And it's only cost RM20 each.

Sport Carnival 2014

The home school participated in Sport Carnival organised annually by Chempaka Assembly of God held in the Matsushita Sports Center from 7:30 am to 5pm.

There're no athletics sports this year due to renovation of the stadium.  Nevertheless, Ian was also disappointed by teacher Peter that he won't be participated in the football match.  The reason given was not enough participants for the group age below 17 years old.  I was unhappy too, if this's the case, he did not need to practice from Jan to June.  It's very unorganised.
