Surprise Breakfast
Past few days Ian kept bugging me to buy the ingredients according to one of the recipes and he requested me to keep as secret, he wanted to give daddy a surprise on Sunday.
Haha, luckily the ingredients is simple, I don't really need to buy a lot...
This morning, James went to SCB KL Marathon and while waiting for him to come back, Ian prepared the "surprise breakfast" for his lovely daddy...
After the delicious breakfast, he started to prepare...
I forgot to snap the photos for Ian, like washing the cherry tomatoes, cutting it, etc... what a waste???

Wobbly Tooth
Er, I noticed that I did not jot down anything
about teeth loosing for Ian.
The first tooth that fell out was the right central
incisor at his age 3 (2008) while he started his first jump on the bed and
knocked on the headboard of the bed.
Ian’s top left lateral incisor (baby tooth) had
been wobbling for months. Last night, he
told me that his tooth was very wobbly with a bit of blood, I found that it was
hanging by half. So he asked me to pull
it out and how I dared to do so…
Suddenly, this morning he gave it a twist and it’s
came out with little bit of blood. He
happily showed it to me with a “relief” face expression. Thank God! I gave him a glass of cold water to gargle and
drink. He’s smiling when I asked him to put it in the
small jar to keep it for memory. Sad thing is I did not manage to keep all of them.
I think he’s kind of a brave boy.

Said A Prayer
Last night, after praying with the kids, I asked Ian:
Me: do you want to pray for me?
Ian: Er, I don't know
Me: just try, whatever you want to tell God
Ian: ok. Dear Lord, thank you for loving me, I want mummy to have more rest, exercise more, give her health, in Jesus name I pray, Amen!

Magnifier
I tried to introduce magnifier to both of them. I think magnifying glass is a good tool to use to teach children because it allows the kids to get an up-close view of whatever I'm discussing.
One of the simple activities is:
Living things:
- have them look at the plants;
- have them inspect the plants; &
- have them to see tiny bugs, ants, or other insects.
However, the little kids just made fun of it...

Splish, Splash!
I remembered an African proverb that: “it takes
a village to raise a child” and the benefits for kids growing up in a strong
and community-minded neighbourhood can include fewer social and learning
problems, fewer emotional problems and better physical health. Plus, it’s more fun for them!

Game Rules:
1. choose a challenge.
Position the red car and the building pieces on the game board to match
the starting layout shown on the card. Those pieces are now fixed - you
must not move them at all during the challenge.
2.
carefully
position the 6 police car pieces on the game board to block in the stolen red
car so it cannot escape. Remember:
o the red car cannot escape over any police car or building pieces
o the red car cannot escape by moving diagonally
3.
You have to place all police car pieces on the game
board, even when they are not all needed to block in the red car. Flip to the key at the back of your challenge
book and check your solution. There is
only one correct answer.

Ryan's 4th Birthday
My little boy turned 4 few days ago… we
celebrated at home with relatives & closed friends. He’s told me what party theme he wanted for
his birthday after Ian’s birthday party.
And kept on asking when will be his birthday party, why is it so
long. The party theme is Disney Cars.
I ordered the cake from Australia cake house,
packed the goodies bag and did some party decorations.
We thank you our friends & family for celebrating our dear son's Birthday that brings joy... and thanks for the gifts and angpows |
