We always want to bring the kids to explore nature, and
during this term 2 school break we ventured to the nearer waterfall in Hulu
Langat, it’s called Sg Gabai Waterfall.
It’s RM2 per person per entry. The car park area is small and facilities
wise, there’re toilet, wooden tables and chairs, shelters, but it’s very dirty.
We’ve to climb many steps of stairs, it’s about 10 – 15 minutes,
luckily the kids were okay and excited. The
waterfall is nice and beautiful, water is cold and clear and the air is clean, unfortunately
the surrounding area was dirty, filled with rubbish everywhere, e.g. waste
bottles, plastic bags, can, bbq stuff (wire net), etc
There’re shelters for people to picnic and rest, but 2
were broken.
The Tourism Ministry ought to upgrade and maintain the cleanliness of
toilets, changing room and the shelters.
We had our lunch at Thai Fish Farm Restaurant, Hulu Langat. Getting here was a mini adventure as the road was bumpy, winding and narrow.
