Ryan 2nd Birthday

My little boy turned 2 yesterday… we celebrated at home with relatives & closed friends.  One week before, I ordered the cake from Australia cake house, packed the goodies bag and did some party decorations.  They’re helping me too…  Recently, he loves Mickey mouse, keeps mentioned the last word “mouse”, so the party theme is “Mickey Mouse”.

Weight:  11.2 kg
Height:  86 cm

Summary of the Year:
1 (12 – 15 months)

- Walk on month 14th

- Understand lots of things that we say

- Climbing up & down

- He loves food, whoever is eating, he’ll point & make sure to get a bite

- Can nod & shake his head

- Like books, but yet not building any interest on learning

- Can do HI5 & Low5

- Speech, can say the word “DOG” & “BALL”

1½ - (16 – 19 months)

- Almost understand everything

- Able to help his brother, Ian to bring his cloths to laundry basket, bring milk bottle, etc

- Love his brother very much

- Can call “DADDY”, “MAMMY” & “POPO”

- Refuse to hold his milk bottle

- Like riding on his bicycles

- Walk up & down stairs

1¾ - (20 – 23 months)

- Can feed himself with spoon

- Can take off his pants

- Say “NO” & “YES”, “BIRD”

- Choose song and cloths

- Babbling sometimes, cannot pronounce “F”, “H”, “R”,“S”

- He’s very clingy all the times

- Love to play on the mobile phone, able to flip on page, and play simple game like pointing the balls/bubbles and will yell “GAME” & “BIRD” means “Angry Bird”

- Always point on his leg and say “HAN” (Itchy)

- Will follow Ian to dance & sing rock songs by showing his hand on his tummy (like playing guitar)

- His Vocab is always last syllabus of the word

Milestone:
Feeding
- Drinking Snow Milk Powder, 3 times a day, 7 oz each

- Porridge for lunch, rice + meat + vegetables for dinner

Bathing & Grooming
- Tooth brushing day & night
- Bathing twice a day
- Haircut by mummy

Sleep

- Taking one to two hours afternoon nap

- 9 pm goes up to bedroom, drink milk, read bible/story book

God, thank you for Ryan and this day, his birthday.  Thank you for the cake, food, presents, and the party, and for everyone who loves and care for Ryan.  Bless Ryan and grant him many, many more memories in the years to come.  May Ryan continues to walk in the light of your Love, in Jesus name, Amen.
