An early Mother's Day celebration for 3 women.  We celebrated at Shabu One, Lot 10, we bought a voucher from Groupon value RM20 per pax.  It's a buffet steamboat.

Ian 7th Birthday

Ian is turning SEVEN.  He's been awaiting his birthday!!  Coz he knows there'll be a present for him.  I promised him to buy LEGO for him and he selected Lego City Mobile Police and also awaiting Grandpa & Grandma to buy Ultraman collection.

- Start losing his lower middle teeth, and the permanent teeth as one type replacing the other;

- Can ride on his bicycle (with 2 small wheels)

- Start losing his upper middle teeth;

- Still could not tell what’s happening in kindy in details;

- Start to tell lie;

- Manage to button, zip and other closures

Milestone:
Sleep - 9:00 pm goes up to bedroom, drink milk, read bible/story book.
Talking - He speaks Mandarin after attending primary school, but still can speak English and Cantonese.
Separation & independent - He's still clingy with us, especially need one of us to accompany him to sleep.  And I think he has a shy, anxious or timid temperament.

Self-Care
- He’s comfortable taking a bath or shower on his own
- can tidy-up/pick-up the toys after playing
- packing his school bag daily

Prayer:
God, thank you for Ian and this day, his birthday.  Thank you for the cake, the presents, the party, and for everyone who loves and care for Ian.  Bless Ian and grant him many, many more memories in the years to come, in Jesus name, Amen.

I used DeliChief black pepper seasoning mix to marinate the chicken for at least 3 hrs in a glass bowl, then roasted it in oven for 45 mins.  Thumbs up!

Breakfast at Kim Gary

There's no piano class for Ian, so we had our breakfast at Kim Gary, Mid Valley.  Thereafter, proceeded to Lego shop to buy Ian's birthday present.

Ian's attending the computer holiday program called "Tux Paint", it's a drawing program for children ages 3 to 12 (preschool to K-6).  It combines an easy-to-use interface, fun sound effects and an encouraging cartoon mascot who guides children as they use the program.

Ingredients:

1 loaf French Loaf/Baguette (Sliced)
1 can Tuna (drained)
4 hard-boiled Egg (peeled & chopped)
3 tbsp Mayonnaise
1 tbsp chopped Onion
Salt & Pepper to taste

Directions:
-  In a medium bowl, stir together tuna, eggs, onion and mayo.  Season with salt and pepper to taste. 
-  Place 1 tbsp of the mixture onto 1 slice of baguette.  Top with remaining slices of bread.

My FitFlop Walkstar III

My FitFlop is truly the most supportive comfortable shoes that is in the FitFlop category.  Whether or not they actually make me "fit" or not is in question but I bought it because it were so comfortable and supportive and stylish in the patent.  I bought it from the warehouse sale @ RM140, really value for money.

I was told from friends with heel pain, knee problems and back pain gush over the Fitflop and also recommended by the Doctor.  So buy a pair for comfort and relief from the abovementioned conditions, and if you want to tone up a bit, consider it as an added benefit.

Ingredients:
Pumpkin
Water
Evaporated Milk (Coconut Milk)
Rock Sugar
Salt
Sago

Direction:
- Clean sago, cook in water till transparent.  Drain and set aside
- Peel pumpkin, cut into pieces, steam till soft
- Blend pumpkin and water into puree
- Add pumpkin mix, evaporated milk, sugar and salt to pot and bring to boil
- Add sago to the mix

Valentine's Day 2012

Valentine's Day, no more celebrating 2 of us, this year it fall on Tuesday, after picking up Ian from school.  Thereafter, we had our "romantic" dinner at Riverside Grill & Bar.  The restaurant were full of pink and lilac "Love" balloons.  The kids love it so much, especially Ian, he loves the place and the food.

There're free gifts, a angel "Love" stick & 2 little teddy bears.

4 January 2012 - Ian's first day in primary school.  

Maybe I'm thinking too much into this, but this is the start of his another 11 years commitment, whether he can cope, friends, too talkative in the class, couldn't pay attention, etc...

And I'm so worry that he'll cry coz so many boys were crying there, but luckily, he's so naturally and steadily... "finger crossed"

During recess time, he ate all his snacks and said very nice...
