Orang Asli Village

We visited a Church at Orang Asli village in Kampung Bukit Bangkong.

Thank you to Tony & family and their CG team for organising this wonderful time of fellowship event on 15 December 2013, as well as worshiping together.  We enjoyed a great time during the visiting and certainly learned a lot.

These Orang Asli were blessed with songs, drama, testimonies, foods and gifts.

Watoto Children Choir

Last night was a wonderful time spent with the Watoto Children's Choir, the singing, dancing, and the costumes were awesome.  I like their soften and united voices and it's impressed that they're singing a beautiful Chinese song praising God.

The amazing part was the children benefited from it, the day after...

Morning
Ryan:  Mummy, I must finish my milk milk?
Me:  Yes
Ryan:  The children have no food to eat...
Me:  Ya

Lunch
Ryan:  Mummy, I must finish my food?
Me:  Yes, why?
Ryan:  The children have no food to eat in Africa...
Ian:  Ya, Mummy I finish my food also.
Ryan:  I finish my food by myself.
Me:  Good boy!

So did the dinner... hopefully this will last long...  Praise the Lord!

Watoto Children’s Choir- An African children's choir based in Kampala, Uganda is coming!

Watoto Children’s Choirs have traveled internationally since 1994 as advocates for the estimated 50 million children in Africa, orphaned as a result of HIV/AIDS, war, poverty and disease.

Accompanied by a team of adults, the choir presents Watoto’s vision and mission through their stories, music and dance.

These children act as ambassadors to raise awareness about the plight of the orphaned and vulnerable children of Africa.

Nick Vujicic

Thank you for the complimentary admission and streaming live online.  It's a blessing to hear how the Lord has used him for His Glory.

"Faith is Full Assurance In The Heart. Do you have faith?"

"I don't need to hope that my hope is real. Why? Because my hope is real."

Testimony_BMEW_8 - 9 Sept 2012

The encounter weekend has allowed & encouraged me a time of focus on individual relationshiop with God, encountered God realistically, and to heal the broken soul.  Besides, I also learned how importantly to encourage each other (partner).

Forgiveness
God covers our shame in our life & won't shame us with all our mess in our life, and whatever rejection, baggage, bondages in our life, I personally felt God allowed me to phtysically take each and every obstacle to the Cross for complete restoration & healing.  God always forgives my sin, whenever I confess/repent it.

The Holy Spirit
The power of Holy Spirit, when Pastor taught/prayed by Speaking in Tongues, I think i received the gift, but need more practises.  My tongues was just moving automatically quick, un-stop & I felt so heaty over my body.  One thing for sure, I'm filled with the Holy Spirit.

The Roof Top of Life
Pastor shared this with David's Sin, and to apply on our daily life, I must always bear in mind, set the roof top of what I can/cannot do, what the limitation too, so that I can manage my life faithfully.

Willing Slave to God
By knowing all His Good, Glory, Grace & Love, how He sufferred/done on the cross for our sin.  I definitely want to live my life to serve Him.
I would say the weekend was a weekend of freedom, freedom of life, freedom from habits, baggage, bondages, wrong thoughts, past mistakes, etc.

Lastly, thank you Pastor Chris.

Little India Carnival

This the first time for us to join the voluntary work, as our cell group has selected to take care of the dunking booth.  It's organised by DUMC on 7 Nov 2011, and it's a day of great fun for the families of the Tamil church members.

There were lots of food and game stalls, plus entertainment section.

You can find more info @ Floodgates 065_Page 14...
