Reflection of Year 2014

The year 2014 has quickly passed and closed, remembering and reflecting on the good, the amazing, the bad, the sad…  And it’s worth thinking about our family own year in the same way.

I give thanks for the year, nothing major happened in our family, all healthy and safe.  But my heart was broken of the relationship among sis, mom and me…  It’s really painful...

Hubby and I were always struggling of children education funds, and it made us think of bringing them to Ozi and live there.  After consideration, we have planned that I go study alone for few years and thereafter getting them over.  However, I neglected of their psychology development, I think both children education and psychology development are equally important.  Finally I choose to stay together as a family to overcome all the obstacles.  I believe where God places us, and He will thrive us through.

The year of 2014 has not been a good year, people suffering from losses, separations, and our country seems like getting worse in all kind of aspects.  No matter how, we must have faith and hope in God to make a difference.

I look forward for this year, a more challenging world, the children continue to grow healthily and safely, to learn God’s word and apply in daily life.

We are loved!
Blessed New Year 2015!

Normally, I'll cook something for Ian to bring school on Thursday, because his lesson end at 3pm.

Me:  Ian, I fried rice for you tomorrow, ok?
Ian:  No need, ta pao the fried kuey teow...
Me:  Huh, it's oily, no good for your health
Ian:  Ya, but I don't want you to wake up so early and cook for me...
Me:  (sweet)...  give him a hug + a kiss...

Sense of Mother's Day

After mom fell from stairs during CNY, it's been over 3 months on our own, no mother, no maid.  I'm a full time mummy + homemaker + part-time office manager.  In short, I have to juggle my job, my children and my home.

7 days of the week, what am I doing?
-  laundry (luckily I've dryer, fold, keep, iron)
-  cooking
-  planning menu for the week
-  go wet market
-  shopping for grocery
-  washing dishes & sink
-  cleaning the stove
-  fetching kids to/from school
-  bathing Ryan
-  feeding Ryan
-  homework checking for Ian
-  reading story books with kids
-  reading devotion with kids
-  watering plants
-  throwing rubbish
-  vacuum/mop floors
-  washing toilets
-  changing bedsheets

I almost used to the routine work.  I'm lucky that I've a understanding and helpful hubby to help me out.  But sometimes he's a lot of work to do too, then no choice.

Mother's Day, just have a special feeling and thoughts... a sense of thankfulness and gratitude to the Awesome God, for what he has done and work on miracles in our lives and family.

Lord, we want to walk closer with You, grow our faith in You and trust You, we surrender all to You, Amen.

Mother's Day Card from Karine and Me

Mum showed a Mother's Day card to Ian and Ryan, that's a card made from Karine and me which was given to her during our primary school time, I think it's about 25 years ago.  She still kept it till now, so touched...  I love you, Mom!
