Dynabook Grade Exam Certificate Presentation 2013

When Ian was requested to enroll by his teacher last year, we are also not sure what it is.  We requested to pay RM40 for the exam fees.  The course topic he took is Creative Painting + Typing Skills. 

The Grade Exams are held from July to Mid-September in the school computer labs every year, in which scores are divided into 40% theory-based and 60% practical-based.  The certificate received by students will be issued by both Dynabook and SEGI University College. 

We’re surprised that Ian brought back a notice mentioned that he obtained a distinction for the exam and with a reply slip whether he wanted to attend the certificate presentation ceremony.  It was held on 24 Mar 2013 at SJKC Yuk Chai.

Before we entered to the hall, there’re some booths for us to visit and understand in details of the products and course.  There’re also a soft-launch of Smart Bees Online Learning for Primary School, so it took quite long for the opening speech.  After that, I think it’s a bit torturing for the students as well as the parents, due to the participants were numerous.  All you need to do is to wait patiently.

I think this's certainly worth for attending, it's really built the confident on learning and exploring for the students.

Ian_Primary 2

Today, I dropped him off at the tuition centre and I told him that I’ll be meeting him at the school hall about 12:30pm.  However, I was late coz need to settle Ryan first before I could rush to meet Ian.  When I arrived, he was walking to the classroom and I quickly took some pictures. 

Ian:  Mummy, no need to come, this's my second year already.

Mom:  Ya, but I want to see whether you are ok?

Ian:  I'm ok.

Mom:  Ok

Ian:  Mummy, no need to take photo, you took a lot last year.

Mom:  Ya, but this year is Standard 2.

Cool...

Attitude Improvement Award for August 2012

Ian has rewarded the Attitude Improvement Award for the month of August among primary 1.  In other words, he's not so behave from the beginning of the year. :(

Congratulations, darling!  Keep it up...

  

Sport Day 2012

This was the first Sport Day in Ian's primary school, he was very excited to wear his blue colour sport shirt for blue team and to wear sport shoes in the early morning.  He took part in one of the sport events.

One good value, I can see the sport spirit apply to him, he really did his best during the game.

He received his first bronze metal in primary school, it's a great experience and encouragement.

Computer Holiday Program 2012

Ian's attending the computer holiday program called "Tux Paint", it's a drawing program for children ages 3 to 12 (preschool to K-6).  It combines an easy-to-use interface, fun sound effects and an encouraging cartoon mascot who guides children as they use the program.

Ian_Primary 1

4 January 2012 - Ian's first day in primary school.  

Maybe I'm thinking too much into this, but this is the start of his another 11 years commitment, whether he can cope, friends, too talkative in the class, couldn't pay attention, etc...

And I'm so worry that he'll cry coz so many boys were crying there, but luckily, he's so naturally and steadily... "finger crossed"

During recess time, he ate all his snacks and said very nice...

Orientation Day

Last 2 day of Dec 2011, Ian attended his primary (standard 1) orientation!

Felt like yesterday when I gave birth to him, but now, i'm seeing him walking into the next phase of life, my little boy is growing up fast...

He's quite excited with all his new stuff like bags, books, uniform, etc...

Result of 2012 Primary 1 Registration (Selangor)

For those who did the registration online, you may check the result via online:

The website showed that you can check the result after 16 July 2011, however, I only managed to check on 20 July 2011, thereafter, received the letter from the school on 27 July 2011.

After receiving the letter, everyone should do the confirmation at the respective school from 1 - 30 August 2011.  We did it on 3 August 2011 by filling up a form.  And get a name tag for Ian, his class is 1B.  There'll be 12 classes in 2012 Primary 1 and one class is not more than 45 students.

1. Buying Books;
2. Orientation Day; &
3. Donation Form

Online Registration for Primary 1

Haha, just got to know that for Year 2005 children who has registerred last year at the respective school, need to do online registration for 2012 Primary 1 and submit the online form to the school...

Registration for 2011/2012 Primary 1

In the delimma of choosing the right SJKC for Ian due to a sudden of moving house to Seri Kembangan few months later... And not familiar with the area, environment, school and people... I'm checking around and get to know that Kung Man and Serdang Baru 2 are good choice, so finally decided to choice Serdang Baru 2, I've been to the school and find out that there're good facilities and environment...
